Snow Cabin is a 110-page bold and easy coloring book for adults and teens, by Nora Ember. Paperback on Amazon.

The book opens with single things, a snowflake, an oil lamp, a snowy owl, moves into fuller scenes, an ice fishing hut, a bear asleep in a cave, otters sliding down a bank, and closes on simple shapes again, so it starts with quick wins and ends on calm pages.

What is inside

  • Log cabins, wood stoves, moose, foxes, snowy owls and otters on the ice
  • Winter without a holiday in it, so it lasts past January
  • If you want the tree and the stockings, Cozy Christmas
  • 52 bold and easy designs, one to a right-hand page with the back left blank so a marker cannot bleed onto the next design, and a page to test your pens before you start.

The pictures are made with an image generation tool, then checked one by one by us. How a book gets made.

The middle of the book holds the fuller scenes.
Coloring page: a square cabin window with four empty panes, a row of large icicles hanging above it and a deep heap of snow on its sill.

Questions before you buy

Who is it for?

Snow Cabin is drawn for adults and teens: lines thick enough to stay inside without effort and spaces big enough to fill in a sitting. The adult books have more detail than a small hand enjoys; for ages 3 to 6, Little Lantern Coloring is the same idea drawn bigger.

How many designs, and how big are the pages?

52 designs on 110 pages, 8.5 x 8.5 in, one design to a page, from the first (big snowflake) to the last (pine border). The book opens on single objects, moves into fuller scenes and ends on quiet pages.
